Jackson County, MS : 3-year-old girl died in car crash in a Gulf Park Estates on Thursday, March 24, 2016

A family is in mourning after a 3-year-old girl lost her life in a Gulf Park Estates car crash Thursday.

Emma Lee was killed when the car she was riding in hit a guardrail over Simmons Bayou on Beachview Drive. The accident happened around 2:20pm, and involved only one vehicle.

Deputy Coroner Jason Moody said Lee died as a result of her injuries, and an autopsy will not be performed.
