Campti, LA : Three people along with 1-year-old baby injured in a wreck at LA Hwy. 480 on Monday, April 25th, 2016

Louisiana State Police are investigating a wreck that left several people injured.

It happened around 5:41 p.m. Monday on LA Hwy. 480, west of Campti.

According to Natchitoches Parish deputies, the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was airlifted from the scene by LifeAir to University Health in Shreveport with moderate to severe injuries which are believed to be non life-threatening.

Deputies say two additional passengers, one woman and a 1-year-old baby, had to be extricated from the vehicle by Natchitoches Fire District 9 and NPSO Rescue. The two were taken by EMS to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center with what

is believed to be minor-moderate non life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
