Daytona Beach, FL : One person killed by Vehicle crash on June 24th 2014.

A person on the beach was hit and killed by a vehicle in Daytona Beach Shores, authorities said.

Witnesses told WFTV a car drove through a light on Dunlawton Avenue, crashed through the toll booth at the beach access ramp, and then ran over a pedestrian.

However, Volusia County investigators have not confirmed that information.

The name of the victim was not released.
