PHOENIX,AZ : I-10 ramp to I-17 reopened hours after fiery crash in Phoenix on Saturday, 3rd August 2024

A busy on-ramp in Phoenix has reopened after a fiery crash closed it for hours.

Around 5 a.m., Department of Public Safety troopers say a car and semi-truck collided on the Interstate 10 westbound on-ramp to Interstate 17, known as the Stack. The semi-truck’s cab and trailer exploded into flames, and the car was seen on its roof.

DPS says one person has been detained, and impairment has not been ruled out in connection to the crash.
