Richmond, VA : Man killed on I-95 after running from Va. trooper on Interstate 95 in Henrico County on Tuesday night, November 11, 2014

Virginia State Police say a man is dead after he ran away from a trooper and was hit by a vehicle. The incident occurred Tuesday night on Interstate 95 in Henrico County. State police Sgt. Steve Vick tells media outlets that the trooper was responding to a report of a disabled vehicle on the interstate. The man was standing beside the vehicle when the trooper arrived. Vick says the man ran across the highway into the median when the trooper approached him. The trooper ran to the man and the two struggled in the median. The man fled again and was hit by a vehicle.
