Murray, UT : Road reopens after truck carrying cereal crashes near Interstate 215 and Interstate 15 early Tuesday afternoon on September 23, 2014
Several lanes of a freeway interchange near Murray have reopened after crews cleaned up an overturned semi-trailer that was hauling boxes of cereal.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the interchange near Interstate 215 and Interstate 15 was reopened early Tuesday afternoon.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the semi-trailer ran into a concrete barrier early Tuesday morning near the I-215 onramp.
The truck overturned, blocking several lanes and spilling boxes of cereal across the road.
Troopers say the accident triggered several other accidents.
No injuries were reported but the driver of the semi-trailer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
