Macon, GA : Warner Robins man dies in Macon accident on Saturday, 5th November 2016
A Warner Robins man died in a one-car accident in Macon late Saturday.
Thomas Jackson Stokes, 24, died in the accident on Skipper Road near Jones Road shortly before midnight, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office release.
Stokes was driving south in a 2005 Chevy Cobalt when he lost control, went off the road and the vehicle flipped over. Stokes and two passengers were taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health. Stokes was pronounced dead at the hospital. The two passengers are in stable condition.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said the accident happened at 11:49 p.m. near Gateway Fellowship Church of God. He identified one of the passengers as Cody Icard, 22, of Warner Robins. He said Stokes and Icard were ejected. He said the other passenger was a 17-year-old.
