ODESSA, MO : 3 people, including 9-year-old, walk away from head-on crash with only minor injuries on Saturday, 5th October 2024

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said three people were involved in a head-on crash Saturday, just east of Odessa, Missouri.

According to MSHP, the crash happened at 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 5 just outside the I-70 Speedway.

A 34-year-old Independence man was driving his 1999 Ford Mustang south on Highway M when he turned left into the path of a 1992 Dodge Dakota driving north. The cars hit head-on and stopped in the road.

MSHP said the 34-year-old Ford driver, 20-year-old Dodge driver and the Dodge’s 9-year-old passenger all had minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.
