Longmont, CO : 74-year-old Longmont man killed in crash on Saturday night, March 4, 2017

The Boulder County Coroner's Office on Tuesday identified the man killed in a single-vehicle crash in Longmont on Saturday night as 74-year-old Salvatore Crisanti.

The coroner's office announced in a news release that it will perform an autopsy on Crisanti, of Longmont, and determine the cause and manner of his death.

Longmont police say Crisanti was driving northbound on County Line Road near Deerwood Drive at about 7 p.m. on Saturday when he struck a raised median and rolled over.

Crisanti was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead about two hours later. Police do not suspect alcohol, drugs or speed as contributing factors.

A police spokesman could not immediately be reached on Tuesday to inquire about the progress of the investigation.

Crisanti's death marks the second fatal crash in Longmont this year.

On Jan. 1, 66-year-old Douglas Seamon, also of Longmont, was riding his motorcycle on Main Street near Tenacity Drive when a SUV pulled in front of him and the two vehicles collided. He died at the hospital.
