Edgewater, FL : Kevin Daniello, 57, died after a fatal crash at Old Mission Road and Park Avenue on Thursday morning, Nov 19, 2015

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash in Edgewater.

Authorities said it happened at Old Mission Road and Park Avenue on Thursday morning.

The victim was identified as Kevin Daniello, 57, of Edgewater.

Initial reports indicate the head-on crash involved two vehicles, a car and a dump truck, and Daniello was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the dump truck, Angel Mejias, 56, of DeLand, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
