ROME, GA : 2 injured in Rome crash on State Route 365 on Friday, 22nd February 2019
Two people were injured in a Route 365 car accident Friday, Oneida County sheriff’s deputies said.
At about 1:45 p.m., Muhammad Maudarbocus, 48, of Rutherford, New Jersey, was driving a tractor-trailer west on State Route 365 when he collided with an SUV at the intersection of South James Street, officials said.
The operator of the SUV, Elizabeth Monroe, 79, of Rome, and her passenger, Barbara Lamphear, 68, also of Rome, were transported to the St. Elizabeth Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System for evaluation, deputies said.
Maudarbocus was issued a traffic ticket for failure to stop at a stop light, officials said.
