Hazleton, PA : Woman injured in car crash on April, Wednesday 19th 2017
A Ringtown woman was treated at a hospital after a farm tractor and Ford Mustang collided along Phinneyville Road in East Union Twp. on Wednesday, state police at Frackville said.
Police said a farm tractor driven by Ralph Bley, 31, Ringtown, was traveling east on Phinneyville Road — about 1½ miles east of Route 924 — when it collided with a westbound Mustang driven by Nancy Donatacci, 61, of Ringtown.
Donatacci told police that the farm tractor was traveling partially in her lane when it impacted her vehicle.
Bley, meanwhile, reported that Donatacci did not slow down upon approaching his tractor — and that he was unable to avoid hitting her vehicle, state police said.
Both units sustained heavy damage.
Donatacci was taken by Shenandoah EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital in Coaldale for treatment of reported injuries, police said.
Firefighters from the Sheppton-Oneida Volunteer Fire Company responded.
