Middlebury, VT : Brandon woman killed in Rt. 7 crash on Saturday night, Oct 3, 2015

Authorities have released the name of a Brandon woman killed in a crash in Middlebury Saturday night.

The crash happened on Route 7 just after 7 p.m. Middlebury Police say a pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Donald Castonguay was headed north when it rear-ended a farm truck. Castonguay's wife, 47-year-old Mary Alberico, was sitting in the passenger seat. She was pinned and died at the scene. Castonguay was taken to UVM Medical Center for his injuries.

Route 7 was closed for about three hours Saturday night.
