Orlando, FL : Motorcyclist hit, dragged by car after 3-vehicle crash in Orange County Saturday night, October 22, 2016

A 28-year-old Orlando man driving a motorcycle died after being ejected, hit and dragged by a car during a three-vehicle crash in Orange County Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

James Lorraine, 28, was driving west on East Colonial Drive near State Road 417 about 11 p.m. when a car veered out in front of him, highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The driver, Christopher Shuman, 23, was turning left to get to the on ramp for the highway and drove directly into his path, troopers said.

Lorraine crashed into the side of Shuman's Nissan Sentra and flew off the motorcycle. He landed in the middle lane of Colonial, Montes said.

That's when Joel Negron, 26, crashed into him in his Infiniti G35. Lorraine was dragged about a 1/4 of a mile before Negron pulled over, Montes said.

Lorraine was pronounced dead at the scene.
