8-year-old girl dies in crash near Buckhorn Missouri

An 8-year-old girl from the Ozarks died and five other people are hospitalized after a rollover crash on I-44.

It happened Saturday afternoon near mile marker 152 in Pulaski County, which is west of Waynesville near the Missouri 17 exit.

State troopers identified the victim as Hannah Lamb of Nevada. They say Lamb's 15-year-old sister was driving the van when she lost control, over-corrected and hit the median cable.

The driver, two adults, including the mother of the driver and the victim, a 12-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl were all hospitalized.

Everyone was wearing a seatbelt. Troopers say the 8-year-old who died was ejected as the van rolled over multiple times.
