Marlboro, VT : NY man killed in A crash on Route 9 in southern Vermont on Monday, October 3, 2016

One person is dead after a crash in southern Vermont.

Vermont State Police say the crash happened just after 10 p.m. Monday on Route 9 in Marlboro. They say James Teta, 26, of Troy, New York, lost control of his car and hit a tree. Teta was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation. Police say Teta was driving a silver Audi A4 with New Hampshire tags.
