Libertyville, IL : Person killed in rollover crash on Tri-State crash near Libertyville, blocking all but one lane on Friday, 31st January, 2020

Nearly all lanes on the Tri-State Tollway were closed during Friday morning rush hour following a fatal rollover crash near Libertyville.
About 2:10 a.m., a female driver going west on I-94 in Libertyville lost control of her gray BMW SUV and crashed into a semi-trailer truck, according to Illinois State Police.
The female, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was ejected from her SUV after it rolled over several times. She was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
The Libertyville Fire Department took a male passenger with minor injuries in the SUV to a hospital, state police said. Two other male passengers declined an ambulance.
Drugs and/or alcohol are suspected to be a factor in the crash, which caused three of four westbound lanes on the Tri-State by Libertyville to be closed as of 6 a.m.
