Anderson,SC : Motorcyclist killed in crash on US-76 in Anderson Co.on September, Saturday 9th 2017

Highway Patrol says the driver of a motorcycle has died after a crash on US-76 in Anderson County.

The crash happened near Circle Drive when trooper say a 76-year-old driver pulled out of a private driveway onto US-76 around 7:41pm.

They say the driver of a motorcycle crashed into the car, killing the 47-year-old motorcyclist at the scene.

The driver of the car was injured and taken to the hospital. Troopers say she was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.

The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
