Easley, SC : One injured after five-vehicle crash near West End Elementary School on Wednesday, November 2, 2016

Easley police said one person was taken to the hospital after a five-vehicle crash that involved a day care bus near West End Elementary School.

Police said the crash occurred on Pelzer highway just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Captain Rashad Murray said five vehicles were involved, including Geer Memorial Child Development Center’s bus.

“Although no serious injuries occurred, the driver who is listed as contributing to the accident did go to the hospital,” Murray stated in an e-mail. He said no children were hurt.
