CHATTAROY, WA : 1 transferred to hospital via Life Flight, another injured after crash in Chattaroy on Saturday, 20th April 2024

A man could face charges of vehicular assault after a crash seriously injured two people, including one transferred to the hospital via Life Flight in Chattaroy.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the crash happened on April 20 on North Newport Highway and East Chattaroy Road.

WSP said the driver of a Honda was driving northbound on State Route 2 approaching Chattaroy Road. The driver of a Kia was traveling westbound on Chattaroy Road, and when they attempted to cross the northbound lanes of SR 2, they were struck by the Honda.
