A 68-year-old Ravenna man was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle wreck in Streetsboro.
According to Streetsboro police, David Freshour, 68, lost control of his motorcycle while heading eastbound on S.R. 303 near Diagonal Road around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
Freshour's vehicle struck a guardrail as he attempted the navigate the turn near Diagonal and he was ejected from the bike. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Streetsboro Police Lt. Tricia Wain said speed was not a factor, and drug and alcohol were not suspected. The speed limit on that stretch of road is 35 mph.
