LOS ANGELES, CA : 1 killed, 1 wounded in Los Angeles apartment building on Saturday, 22nd October 2016

Police are searching for a gunman who killed one man and seriously wounded another in a downtown Los Angeles apartment building.

Officer Mike Lopez says the shooting was reported at the upscale Gas Company Lofts Saturday afternoon.

He said first responders found a dead man in the building and another person who was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Officers searched the building floor-to-floor for the gunman, but the suspect remains on the loose.
