One person is dead in Greensboro after hitting a tree head-on Saturday morning along South Elm- Eugene Street.
Officers responded to the crash around 2:53 a.m.
Officers said the driver was traveling southbound on South Elm-Eugene Street when they drove into the median, hit a tree head-on, and the car caught fire.
