Pensacola, FL : One person in serious condition after a motorcycle and truck collided near Pensacola Catholic High School on Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2016

A person is in serious condition after a motorcycle and truck collided Wednesday afternoon near Pensacola Catholic High School, according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Vonshia Harris, 32, of Pensacola was riding a motorcycle westbound on the grass shoulder of Scott Street approaching Mission Road.

As the motorcycle entered the intersection, it hit the right rear side of a GMC truck driven by Dorothy McMillian, 66, of Pensacola.

Harris sustained serious injuries and was transported to Baptist Hospital.

Charges are pending, and the FHP is investigating.
