Warren County , OH : 72- Years old woman killed in Crash after after her car crashed into the Littler Miami River along interstate 71 on Wednesday , March 4th 2015

A 72-year-old woman died Wednesday after her car crashed into the Littler Miami River, according to a Montgomery County coroner's official.

A nearby resident spotted the car in the river, north of the Interstate 71 Jeremiah Morrow Bridge just before 10 a.m., a Warren County dispatcher said.

Water rescue officials pulled Joyce Ann Cain from the vehicle and she was flown to a hospital in Dayton, the coroner's official said.

Cain, of Morrow, was pronounced dead a few hours later.

It is not clear how her car ended up in the river.

Cain's cause of death also is not clear. An autopsy is being performed Thursday.
