DAVIS JUNCTION, IL : Rockford woman killed in Ogle County crash n Illinois 72 went off the south side of the roadway on Monday, 20th January, 2020

A Rockford woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in rural Davis Junction.

A pickup truck traveling east on Illinois 72 went off the south side of the roadway, slid into a ditch, overturned and struck several trees in a wooded area, Ogle County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

The driver, 43-year-old Courtney Paulson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
