W. ROCKHILL TWP, PA : 1 dead after dump truck crash in Bucks on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

A 62-year-old man is dead after a crash near Sellersville, Bucks County.

A dump truck rolled around 9 a.m. at Ridge Road (Route 563), near its intersection with Thousand Acre Road in West Rockhill Township.

The driver of the truck, Joseph Rymarowicz, was heavily entrapped in the vehicle and died shortly after police and fire crews arrived, according to a news release from the Pennridge Regional Police Department.

Police said it appeared that the vehicle left the roadway while traveling northbound on Ridge Road. It appears that when Rymarowicz tried to correct the vehicle and get it back on the roadway it crossed over the southbound lane, hitting a utility pole and rolling onto its side, police said.
