MUSCATINE, IA : Two drivers received minor injuries in a head-on collision on Monday, June 5, 2017

Two drivers received minor injuries in a head-on collision Monday at the intersection of Cedar Street and Douglas King Memorial Expressway in Muscatine.

Muscatine County Sheriff C.J. Ryan said around 12:30 p.m., a driver, later identified as Diane Nicol, was driving southbound on the expressway, when she pulled in front of a vehicle causing a head-on crash.

Nicol and the other driver, Bryce Taylor, were transported to Trinity Hospital Muscatine with minor injuries.

Ryan said the vehicles sustained about $8,000 in damages. Nicol was issued a citation for failure to yield.
