A 35-year-old Temple Terrace man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, near the intersection of Seminole Boulevard and 106th Avenue North in Largo.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Laura Foster, 53, of Largo was driving a 2009 Honda Civic, traveling southbound on Seminole Boulevard in the inside lanes approaching 106th Avenue just before the crash.
Kevin Krieter was on the grass median on Seminole Boulevard just sound of 106 Avenue North. Troopers say Krieter stepped into the southbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard and walked into the path of Foster’s car.
Foster tried unsuccessfully to veer right to avoid hitting Krieter, but the front of the Civic collided with the man. Bayflight transported Krieter to Bayfront Medical Center. Neither Foster nor her passenger, Jeffrey Foster Jr., 30, of Largo was injured.
