wo people were injured in a two-car rollover crash Thursday morning north of MarneEmergency crews responded to the intersection of 16th Avenue and Arthur Street shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Police say that a 28-year-old Grand Rapids man, Darrell Rider, was driving east on Arthur Street and ran the stop sign at 16th Avenue. His 2013 Chrysler 200 collided with a red Pontiac Vibe, driven by Linda Nowatzke, 71, of Conklin, who was southbound on 16th Avenue.

The vehicles ran off the southeast side of the road and struck a utility pole, according to Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Nowatzke’s vehicle rolled and landed on its top. Wright-Talmadge Fire Rescue extricated her from the vehicle. An ambulance transported her to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids with non-life-threatening injuries.
