Buckman, MN : Pierz man falls asleep, crashes vehicle in Buckman Township on Wednesday, July 20, 2016
A 23-year-old man was injured when he fell asleep while driving and crashed into a power pole Wednesday in Buckman Township near Buckman.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash at 12:46 a.m. on 260th Avenue, just south of 93rd Street near Buckman. The sheriff's office reported Tyler Gulden, 23, Pierz, was driving northbound on 260th Avenue when he fell asleep and his vehicle left the roadway just south of 93rd Street. Gulden's vehicle entered the ditch and struck a power pole. Gulden was taken by Gold Cross Ambulance to a hospital.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Royalton Police Department, State Patrol, Pierz First Response Team, Pierz Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance.
