Sarasota, FL : Two lanes on NB I-75 back open in Sarasota after tanker crash on Wednesday afternoon, August 27, 2014

Two northbound lanes of I-75 are now back open. All lanes were previously closed early Wednesday due to a crash just past Fruitville Road involving a fuel tanker truck. All lanes may not be reopened until at least 8 p.m. Earlier, NB traffic was diverted at Bee Ridge Road. Sarasota officials say the driver of the fuel tanker was taken by helicopter to the hospital. Fire crews were on scene to shower the truck. Officials say there was an additional four-car crash in the same area this morning with no one injured. Source : 2 lanes of I-75 open after tanker crash
