BLUEFIELD, VA : A two-vehicle accident on Sunday, October, 22nd 2017

A helicopter was brought in near Food City to transport an unidentified patient following a two-vehicle accident Sunday evening near the intersection of Leatherwood Lane and U.S. Route 460.

Multiple agencies responded to the incident.

Officers on the scene of the crash were not able to provide additional details immediately following the crash.

Bluefield, Va. Rescue Squad, Bluefield, West Virginia Fire Department, Bluefield Police Department and the Bluefield Va. Police Department all responded to the wreck.

The two cars involved in the incident were a black Volkswagen and a black Honda Civic.
