Creek County, OK : Bernice man dies in Creek County crash on Monday, 22nd October 2018

A Bernice man died in a crash Monday in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Michael R. White, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene about 4:50 a.m. Monday a mile west of Sapulpa on the Turner Turnpike in the westbound lanes.

White was driving a tow truck when he drove off the roadway and hit a barrier wall. The truck overturned and landed in a ditch filled with water, the patrol reported. White did not wear a seat belt.
