EARLE, AR : Woman killed after striking a power pole on April, Thursday 6th 2017

An Arkansas woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Crittenden County.

Claudia R. Newsome, 40, of Earle was killed in the crash.

According to Arkansas State Police, Newsome was driving east on U.S. 64B near Earle just before 3 p.m. when the crash happened.

The 2004 Chevrolet she was driving reportedly left the road to the south and overcorrected, crossing eastbound and westbound lanes.

ASP then stated the vehicle left the road to the north and struck a power pole.

The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time, according to the crash report.
