Plainville, MA : North Attleboro teen dead after his SUV crashed into several trees on early Monday morning September 22nd 2014
Plainville, Massachusetts
As a North Attleboro High School athlete, graduating two years ago, Brandon Luise surpassed expectations of his football coach and placed in the All State high jump finals.
"It was just a great opportunity for a kid to work to his potential and as a coach it was a great day that day that he made it to states," said North Attleboro football coach, Derek Herber.
While many of his former team mates were learning the news about his death, friends placed yellow flowers and a candle where he died at the intersection of Fales Road and Hawkins Street in Plainville.
Brandon's SUV crashed into several trees around 2:20 Monday morning. Police believe he was speeding and he was pronounced dead on scene.
Herber said, "You know when something like that-such a young life is cut so short-you kind of stop and realize how precious it really is. You know you just feel for the family and for our kids here.”
Brandon was a sophomore at Bristol Community College and volunteered to help young high jumpers at his former high school. He was also a little league umpire.
