Two Harbors, MN : Motorcyclist killed in crash near Two Harbors on Wednesday, August 23, 2017

A 50-year-old Grand Forks, N.D., woman was killed Wednesday when a pickup truck turned in front of her motorcycle on Minnesota Highway 61 northeast of Two Harbors, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Jennifer Ann White was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson north on Highway 61 in Silver Creek Township at about 1:45 p.m. when the driver of a southbound Chevrolet Silverado pulled in front of the motorcycle while turning into a driveway near Loop Road, the State Patrol reported in a news release.

White was transported to St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth and died from her injuries, the Patrol said. The driver of the truck, Daniel Arlin Schutte, 56, of Castalia, Iowa, and a 13-year-old passenger were not injured.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the State Patrol reported.
