ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL : 24-year-old woman arrested for hit-and-run in Escambia County on Tuesday, 24th September 2024

A52-year-old Pensacola woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning in Escambia County, according to FHP.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 6 a.m. when a 23-year-old Pensacola woman driving aNissan sedan traveling eastbound on Gulf Beach Highway turned left into the path of the woman's Lexus SUV heading westbound near the intersection of Atlanta Avenue.

The front of the Nissan collided with the front of the Lexus, causing both cars to propel off of the roadway, according to FHP.
