ORANGEBURG, SC : Pedestrian killed in Orangeburg County vehicle collision on Monday, 23rd October 2023

A pedestrian is dead after they were struck by a vehicle in Orangeburg Monday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Lance Corporal Brittany Glover said the incident happened around 11:37 a.m. on October 23 on US 301 at Webber Farm Road, about six miles north of Orangeburg.
According to officials, the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling north on US 301 when the vehicle collided with the victim who was standing along Webber Farm Road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.
