Wahiawa , HI ; 81-year-old Pedestrian struck and killed with injured in Crash after hit by a car along California Avenue on Sunday afternoon , April 5th 2015

An 81-year-old Wahiawa man who was hit by a car on Sunday afternoon has died, according to the Honolulu Police Department. The victim has not yet been identified, pending the results of an autopsy.

Authorities say the man was struck by a car that was being driven by a 24-year-old male that veered off the road along California Avenue.

The 24-year-old also reportedly struck another car, a street sign, and the display window of a nearby shoe store.

Police are still investigating whether speed, alcohol or drugs may have been factors in the crash.
