Columbia, SC: Two lanes of I-77 closed following 18-wheeler collision on Tuesday, July 28th 2015

Two lanes of I-77 have been closed to traffic after an 18-wheeler was involved in a wreck and spilled fuel and oil onto the roadway, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol officials.Lance Cpl. David Jones said the incident happened at mile marker 29 near Exit 27 at Blythewood. The collision caused roughly 80 gallons of fuel and oil that the tractor trailer uses to leak onto the roadway.Jones said one lane of southbound and one lane of northbound traffic have been closed, but the other southbound and northbound lanes are still open to traffic. There have been no injuries reported at this time, according to Jones.Motorists in the area are urged to drive cautiously while clean-up and emergency crews work to clear the incident.
