Needham, MA : 73-year-old man hospitalized after crashing truck into post office on Saturday morning October 18th 2014

Needham police responded to reports that a vehicle had crashed into the Needham Center Post Office Saturday morning. The crash occurred at around 8:38 a.m., and police and fire officials found the driver of the vehicle, a 73-year-old New Hampshire man, unresponsive. The driver's name has not been released by authorities. First responders performed CPR, and the driver was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham for further treatment. The crash remains under investigation, but appears to be the result of a medical episode, according to police. No other vehicles were involved.
