Savannah, GA : Ridgeland woman killed in Wednesday crash on Wednesday, May 31, 2017

Ridgeland’s Carolyn Hilderbran, 82, died in a single-vehicle wreck on West Frontage Road Wednesday morning, according to the Jasper County Coroner’s Office.

S.C. Highway Patrol said Hilderbran was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer northbound at 11:45 a.m. when the car went off the right side of the road, hit a guard rail and overturned.

She died at the scene, said Deputy Coroner Todd Harvey.

Hilderbran was wearing a seat belt.
