Salt Lake City, UT : One man critically hurt after South Salt Lake crash on Friday November 13 2015

A man was critically hurt after a car hit him while he was crossing State Street in South Salt Lake.
The man was crossing the road at 3450 South, not at a crosswalk, when a southbound car hit him just after 9 p.m. Friday, said South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Matt Oehler. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Oehler said.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with investigators, Oehler added.
The crash temporarily shutdown the southbound lanes of State Street, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.25 the driver of the car was seriously injured.
