JOHNSON COUNTY, KS : 1 killed, 2 critically injured in Memorial Day weekend DUI collision on I-35 on Sunday, 26h May 2024

One driver has been arrested on suspicion of a DUI after a Memorial Day weekend crash took the life of one woman and put two more of her family members in the hospital with critical injuries.

The Johnson County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office says that just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, emergency crews were called to the area of southbound I-35 and Sunflower Rd., south of Edgerton, with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.
