A man was injured when his Dodge pickup truck slammed into the back of a fitness center in north Colorado Springs on Wednesday morning, police said.
The truck was traveling north on North Powers Boulevard about 10:30 a.m. when the man had a medical episode and his vehicle veered across the northbound and southbound lanes, Colorado Springs police said.
Police said the truck smashed into the back of the LifeTime Fitness Center, causing damage to the exterior of the building.
The truck had "severe damage," said Capt. Steve Oswald, a Colorado Springs Fire Department spokesman.
There were no traffic closures in the area.
