Police say a 37-year-old man was killed when he lost control of his Ford Mustang, hit a guardrail and was struck by a truck on the Long Island Expressway.Nassau County police say Oscar Reyes-Contereras, of Levittown, died Monday morning about an hour after he man was hit by the tractor-trailer in Plainview.The crash delayed traffic for more than three hours.The tractor-trailer passed a safety inspection.
