Council Bluffs, IA : 1 dead in crash near Iowa lake on Thursday, 14th February 2019

A 21-year-old woman from Council Bluffs died after a crash just north of Wallace Avenue and East Manawa Drive.

KETV reports Council Bluffs police said the woman lost control going around a curve and slid sideways incoming oncoming traffic around 6 p.m.

The woman was pronounced deceased at Mercy Hospital.

The other driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Police have not released any names yet.
