Fort Lauderdale, FL : Pregnant Miami television anchor recovering after crash early Tuesday, September 13, 2016

Jacey Birch, morning co-anchor for WPLG-Ch. 10 is recovering after being involved in a car crash early Tuesday, the station is reporting.

Birch, who is nine months pregnant, was driving to work when another vehicle ran a red light and hit her vehicle, according to the station.

Her husband, station meteorologist Trent Aric said Birch has a broken foot, concussion and black eye and that an ultrasound showed that their baby's heartbeat was still strong.
