Trenton, NY : Police ID motorcyclist killed Saturday in collision with SUV in Oneida County on Saturday, 31st July 2021

A 70-year-old man was killed when the driver of an SUV failed to yield the right of way, crashing into his motorcycle in Oneida County on Saturday afternoon, state police said.

Everett Wilson of Wells was ejected from the motorcycle and struck the SUV, said state police spokesman Tpr. Jack Keller. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV, Wendi Cummings, 60, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, was driving north on Prospect Depot Road in the town of Trenton at about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday. She tried to turn left onto Rt. 356 when she failed to yield the right of way to Wilson, who was traveling east on Rt. 365, Keller said.
